I guess it's time that I fill in this section of the website. I'm not all that interesting, but if you want to hear some things about me, who am I to say no? :-)
Who I am: I was born Christie Grant, in 1977, to Lynn & Ricky Grant. I have two younger siblings, a brother & sister. I met my husband in 1993 and we were married in 1994, at the age of 17. Our first daughter came along in December 1996. We had our second daughter in July 2000 and our third daughter in January 2005. My poor husband is surrounded by a house full of women.
What I do: I have been a SAHM (stay at home mom) since I was pregnant with our first daughter in 1996. So I perform all of the normal SAHM, mommy, wifely, homemaker duties that any other SAHM performs. I'm no different than any one of you out there. :-) Then, after all of my "normal" stuff is done, I write!
What I like: I like reading, writing (obviously), chatting with friends, playing with my girls and spending alone time with the hubby. Oh, and I like handbags. I love buying a new handbag numerous times throughout the year. My hubby has learned to not say a word, but I do notice the numerous eyerolls when I pick up a new bag and shout, "Oooohhh! This is PERFECT!" I'm slowly discovering the joy of shoe shopping also. Poor hubby!
So there you have it. I'm a wife, mom, writer and just a normal, everyday person. I have a mortgage, bills and have the occassional arguement with my husband. My mom reads everything I write and loves it all, whether I think it's good or not. My little sister and I tease each other as much as other siblings do.
