Good morning everyone.  As many of you already know, Tim's in the hospital yet again.  Only this time we're finally getting somewhere with taking care of his problem.  Thank goodness!  I can't take many more nights like last night.  I miss my bed soooooo much.

Friday he started up with vomiting and stomach pains.  Over the next few days we did what we could, and it looked to be working.  Tuesday he was feeling much better and went off to work that night.  Unfortunately, that only lasted for 6 hours before he was heading back home with more vomiting.  It took him an hour (normally a 20min drive) to get home due to having to pull off to throw up over and over.

When I got up Wednesday morning I said that's enough and we went to the hospital.  We got there at 10am and he was in an ER bed by 10:30am.  Then it was 5pm when he was finally admitted and moved up on the third floor.

I'm currently taking a break at home to feed dogs and get fresh clothes for me and the kids.

According to all the doctors and nurses we've seen in the last 24hrs, he is now rehydrated sufficiently, his white blood cell count has lowered, and his potassium levels are back up in the normal range.  All that we're waiting on now is a consultation with the G.I. Specialist to determine the next step in taking care of this in-office and NOT in the hospital.  It's looking like he'll be having a colonoscopy as soon as he's over this attack though.

Anyway, that's that for right now.  I'm heading back to the hospital and hoping that we'll be coming home before nightfall.  I don't know that I can take another night sleeping sitting up...if you can call it sleeping.  Ugh!
